Farzi Shahid Kapoor New Web Series Season 1 Episode 7 Recap And Review

Episode Recap

Chapter 7 of "Farzi" begins with Guneshli and Firoz living the high life. In the last episode, after pulling off a crazy money heist in Mumbai, the couple owns a huge apartment, drives luxury cars and hangs out in the VIP section of clubs.

While this is going on, Pawan is under fire for the fake currency circulating in the country. After initially stating that they were completely rooted out, Pawan backtracked and told the interviewer that there was an ongoing investigation. The thing is, it's bigger than he first thought. When she learns that there are 12,000 crores in circulation, Megha demonstrates how difficult it is to track down these new fake notes by burning one in front of her. Apparently, this may be a symbolic prediction.

Michael is also there and privately, he asks Pawan not to publicly announce that he has stopped the fakers. Pawan is only interested in his campaign and just can't see the point.

Michael has problems of his own, as his ex-wife's lawyer gets completely schooled in court while explaining how irresponsible he is. Michael's lawyer does a pretty terrible job of defending his client and tries in vain to talk to Rekha. Ultimately, their conversation ends with Michael on the ropes and nearly losing his son.

Sunny continues to approach Mega, walks up to her and hands over an original painting she did when she was 15. The couple spends the whole day together as Sunny has feelings for him. In the morning, Sunny unlocks Megha's phone and deletes the software under the guise of trying to capture selfies.

On the subject of art, Megha realizes that Supernote and Sandwich Note are actually by the same artist, and each even has a signature, a faint S, to represent Sunny's work.

As for Sunni, he is trying to solve the distribution of these fake notes. Given how many there are, he tries to find ways to accomplish this without inflaming Mansour's anger. Megha, in connivance with Doshi, manages to involve herself in an operation to frame Sunny red-handed. Sunny feels bad about this and is not sure if she will follow through.

Mansoor believes that he has found a mole in his organization, he appears in the safe and takes out a boy named Pathan. Although he begged for his life, Mansoor killed the man, likening him to an animal and reminding Sunny and Firoz that "squeezing is stupid". This is a big wake-up call for brothers who realize they need to move their records, and move them quickly.

As the episode ends, Michael learns from Doshi that the deal is off and prepares to catch the culprits.

  Episode Review

With Michael's life spiraling out of control, all the drama surrounding his divorce feels like a waste of time and an exploit at this point. Honestly, there isn't much action in the plot either. Much of what's here feels like a set-up for the grand finale, which seems to be the longest episode of the bunch.

Sunny and Firoz used to live the high life and now they are starting to humble themselves. The difference in the couple's relationship is pretty obvious, although this romance with Megha feels a bit forced, especially with Sunny getting rid of the software from her phone.

It's all set up for a dramatic final episode here, and who will come out on top is anyone's guess.
